Promoting Caring and Character to Advance Human Flourishing

Kern National Network | Human FlourishingThe Kern National Network for Caring and Character in Medicine (KNN) is advancing caring and character in medicine toward the broader goal of promoting human flourishing. To this end, we are working to contribute to human flourishing by:

  • Advancing the essential nature of caring and character in medicine as it strives to meet patient and community needs and expectations
  • Mitigating physician and medical student burnout
  • Working to bring joy and a revitalized sense of purpose into the profession of medicine
  • Exploring engagement with other health professions
