Bridging in Action: Exploring Bridging Differences Within Student Services and the Learning Environment

Hear from Jane Gagliardi, MD and Melanie Bonner, PhD, as they describe their efforts to implement a bridging across differences initiative within the Office of Learning Environment and Well-being (Le Well) as contributors in the KNN’s National Bridging Demonstration Project.

In this webinar, the KNN team will share a brief overview of the National Bridging Demonstration Project, followed by a presentation from Dr. Gagliardi and Dr. Bonner, where they will discuss their unique purpose and approach for implementing bridging within their office that centralizes support services to students and others involved in the healthcare learning environment. Framework in Action: Flourishing-Centered Professional Identity Formation

See the KNN Framework for Flourishing in action through the work of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. In this webinar, faculty leaders share how they developed a professional identity formation (PIF) curriculum grounded in role models, relationships, and reflective practice. They will also introduce a KNN-informed assessment tool designed to measure the connection between professional identity formation and flourishing.

Sabrina Taldone, MD, Zeina Hannoush, MD, and Xiaoqing Zhang, PhD will demonstrate how the KNN Framework serves as the foundation for their curriculum design and evaluation strategy and they'll describe their collaborative approach and their outcomes thus far. In this session you will gain practical insights, lessons learned, and ideas you can apply in your own setting.
